After months of speculation Leann Rimes has confirmed her marriage to Dean Sheremet is over. The couple has filed a divorce after being married for seven year. Rumors of breakup started earlier this year when the country singer was snapped locking lios with her Northern Lights" co-star Eddie Cibrian. Leann wrote on her site, "After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane (sic) and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage. This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support -- it is deeply appreciated."  Rimes and Cibrian were spotted showing off their affection during a recent getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

LeAnn Rimes has split from husband Dean Sheremet, it was announced. The country singer and Sheremet have been together for seven years but “they are leading separate lives and not staying together most of the time, but still live in each other’s lives as best friends,” sources revealed. LeAnn said, “Sometimes you don’t do anything, but sometimes you want revenge. “Sometimes you don’t, and that’s when you just leave it in God’s hands and know that He will take care of it,” she added.
